Speaking of the Event team, Town Centre Manager Julie Roberts said, Rotherham by the Sea has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2002 and has easily become, one of the most popular things we do here in the Town Centre.

Moor Beach was very popular.
Each day had a theme to ensure that visitors could expect something different each day, as well as the standard entertainment of sand, bingo, deck chairs, face painting, makendoo workshops, singing, character meet & greets, DJ, compere and competitions. Elizabeth Beighton.

Whodunnit as Doctor has an identity switch.
Hundreds turn out to see the (Doncaster Light) switch on, complete with the monsters from the show, which had been recreated by Elizabeth Beightons team.
My kids were entertained all night with plenty to do and keep them occupied. My kids are still talking about meeting him (The Doctor).

Little Bo Peeps sheep search led her to Farmers Market.
Families and shoppers were able to pet real Shetland Ponies and enjoy some free local food presented by Little Bo Peep (Marybeth Beighton) and Millie the Milkmaid (Tyisha Beighton).
